How much do you REALLY know about that beige box in the corner? Well actually, how much do you understand about computers in general? This is a fear for many, and a worthwhile one to have. we have become so dependant on these super machines for day to day life, and it is only increasing as time marches on. PCs and Macs have become a crucial part of our daily routines, and to suddenly be without them would send us all into world wide confusion. It scares me sometimes, that thought. Since we all rely on these multi-talented innovations so often, it's best to better understand their many uses and functions. And while were her, why not take the time out to show what were learning to the generation below us? Our children! Did you know that one of the best ways to learn about computers is WITH computers. Yup, im talking of the world wide web. These days there are countless awesome sites that can inform adults and children alike about your computer. I make the time to teach my daughter about computers, so why cant you? It helps out in various ways, such as with school and any future projects she may want to undertake. She already knows what a gigabyte and hard drive are. Just yesterday she learned the difference between a PC and a Mac. While these are simple things to most people, every little bit helps. If you work hard and they do, they will attain a great knowledge of computers wich will come in handy with many things they wish do in the future. Contrary to what some parents think, I encourage my children to spend some time on computers. Not to excess mind you. I want them to learn and understand the future, websites, and all things!
Does your childrens school contain a computer session? This is a good place for children to learn about computers, even starting from the first grade. Wow, I didnt have computers when I was in first grade. Make sure when you start, that your little ones understand what to stear clear of online. Every parent should be careful in this field, there are predators out there, you can never be too cautious. In short, learn all you can, and make sure you pass on your knowledge!
