We chose Puy Saint Vincent for our Puy Saint Vincent ski vacations, the last one this year, and for many reasons.
First, it is part of the gigantic Grande Galaxie ski area, which gives skiers entry into 200 pathways with a single ski pass so good ski conditions, even that late in season, are almost guaranteed.
Second, Puy Saint Vincent itself has a lot to offer ski wise: 60 km of downhill slopes and 15 ski lifts, one of which takes you up to nearly 2800 meters. Snowboarders have a border cross and a snow park reserved for their use.
Third, its accommodation offer is very wide and diversified. Most of Puy Saint Vincent hotels and residences are located at an altitude of 1400 meters and apartments and hotel rooms come in all categories and for all budgets.
Fourth, Puy Saint Vincent is reasonably priced: The cost for 6-day ski passes are of about to €129 for an adult, children under 12 ski for free and the second adult of a couple gets 25% off. The Puy Saint Vincent restaurants, bars and Puy Saint Vincent accommodation will not ruin you either.
Fifth, with Les Ecrins National Park nearby, the cross-country ski enthusiasts among us will have access to over 60 kilometers of trails just for them!
Last but not least, Put Saint Vincent is the hidden treasure of the region. The other resorts forming Grande Galaxie are maybe better known and have more kilometers of slopes to offer, but Puy Saint Vincent is definitely one of the best places to escape the sea of European vacationers on the French ski slopes.
